  • Reside in Nigeria.
  • Complete our Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification.
  • Provide valid government-issued identification and proof of address.

3. Account Registration

To access the platform, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete personal details.
  • Create a secure password.

4. Services Offered

Casa's digital banking platform allows you to:

You are responsible for the security of your account login credentials and any transactions initiated on your profile.

Third-Party Integrations:

Casa may integrate with licensed third-party services for:

  • Credit scoring and loan underwriting
  • Identity verification and biometric authentication.
  • Payment's processing, card issuance, or mobile wallet services.
  • Access credit, savings, and other financial products.
  • Obtain and use virtual cards for online payments.

You acknowledge that certain features may be delivered via embedded third-party technologies and your use of those features is subject to their respective terms where applicable.

5. Fees and Charges

All fees applicable to your use of the platform including transaction fees, card issuance, account maintenance, and interest on loans will be disclosed in-app prior to use. These fees may be adjusted periodically in accordance with regulatory guidelines and partner pricing changes.

6. Security and Fraud

You agree to:

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login details and PIN.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized activity
  • Cooperate fully in any investigation of fraud or misuse.

CasaMFB and its third-party partners implement industry-standard security protocols but cannot guarantee protection against all threats. You assume responsibility for reasonable safeguards on your device(s).

7. Compliance with Laws

You agree to use the platform in accordance with:

  • Nigerian laws and CBN regulations.
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) frameworks.
  • Applicable laws binding on our partners and service providers.

CasaMFB may monitor and report suspicious activities to regulators or law enforcement as required.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You breach these Terms.
  • There is evidence or suspicion of fraud, illegal activity, or misuse.
  • A third-party integration critical to the service is withdrawn or compromised.
  • Required by legal or regulatory authority.

You may also close your account at any time via the app or by contacting support.

9. Limitation of Liability

Casa Microfinance Bank is not liable for:

  • Delays, interruptions, or service failures caused by third-party providers, mobile networks, or events beyond our control.
  • Losses resulting from unauthorized access due to your negligence.
  • Disputes or failures between you and third-party merchants or platforms using our services.

10. Amendments

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Notice of material changes will be provided via app notification, email, or website update. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Third-Party Terms and Permissions

Some services require sharing your data (with consent) to third-party providers for authentication, credit assessment, or transaction fulfillment. You authorize Casa to securely transmit such data solely for service delivery and regulatory compliance.

Use of these third-party features may also be subject to their specific terms of use or privacy policies, which will be disclosed at the point of engagement.
